I know it’s probably very unlikely it will ever happen but I’d love to see Anthony Bourdain. He’s smart, funny and the food at Les Halles in New York is spectacular. He’d be a real drawcard for me.
i’d like too see Jamie Oliver the most at the show in the future.
He has inspire me how to cook dishes in a simple and fast way too perfection.
I’m not that into ‘celebrity’ chefs… maybe I’d have to go with em and say Jamie Oliver
So mum would be happy!
Jamie Oliver or Curtis Stone !!!
Definitly Gary Mehigan & George Calombaris! I have seen these guys and they are awesome. The alchemy between the firends makes the alchemy with the ingredients, after that you just want to cook with your friends!
Heston Blumenthal – the man behind one of the World’s best and most popular restaurants (The Fat Duck Restaurant)
I would love to have him here so I can experience his amazing culinary skills.
1. Ainsley Harriot- because he is so flamboyant
2. Giada De Laurentis
3. Bobby Chin
4. Ming Tsai
Has to be Thomas Keller. I’m unlikely ever to make it to the French Laundry I’m afraid so would be great for him to come here!
Julie Goodwin – Australia’s first Masterchef because she is an inspiration to home cooks!
Heston Blumenthal. More to ask him about his series Heston’s Feasts. I’m a history nut and combine that with food. Heaven
Hi Guy’s good blog.
I’m French wine lover, and I will be happy to go to Good Food and Wine Show if you give me one ticket.
I would like to see George Calombaris cook.
Peter Gilmore of Quay. Quay is my favourite restaurant in Sydney and I would love to see Peter share some of his tips and tricks with us all! Seeing him on MasterChef was a step in the right direction.
Quay’s 8 textured chocolate cake… need I say more?!
Well it must be Curtis Stone & Jason Roberts boths cooking fresh amazing food and the best of them all jamie oliver
I would love to see Heston Blumenthal! he has such creativity and what better way to draw me in than telling an amazing story about his creations with theatrical flair
Ditto for sexehhhh Zumbo!
(enough said, i think.)
I have a soft spot for Iron Chefs – it’s a toss up between Sakai and Michiba for me
Gary Mehigan!
I’ve always loved his presence on Masterchef.. He has such a great demeanor and my favourite judge!
Heston Blumenthal from Fat Duck…. and also Anthony Bourdain from No Resverations.
I would REALLY like to meet Anthony Bourdain and ask him about the Roasted Warthog Rectum. Whatever was the leadup to that creation? Maybe he was watching the Lion King and thought Pumba was looking particularly delicious!!!!
Adriano Zumbo, Tetsuya, Peter Gilmore and Neil Perry. They are food maestros. Jamie Oliver comes across as a great guy with great intentions but his recipes aren’t that great compared to other recipes out there.
i’d love to see gary and george in their cooking demonstration.
Zumbo Zumbo Zumbohhhh!!!
Eric Ripert! Whilst in New York I ate at his restaurant and it was the most amazing experience ever – We need to bring him here and let everyone enjoy!
Without a doubt, has to be Mr Tetsuya Wakuda of Tetsuya’s!
I would love to see Manu spinning plates and showing us his circus prowesses! But that doesn’t seem to be in the Sydney show unfortunately…
I’d love to see Gary too, he seems like a good man and the food he puts up on Friday Masterclass is always mouthwatering!
Barbara Lynch!
For me It’d have to be Heston Blumenthal. I so regret not having paid attention to his show on SBS because I thought he was a bit of a science nut and I had no idea how glorious his food tasted as well.
Definitely adriano zumbo! I have a sweet tooth and Im powerless against desserts! His macaroons and dessert culture are phenomenal. Gotta love his creations and witty names given to the different cakes!
Justin north, the 2009 chef of the year!
He is amazing to say the least! I am addicted to Etch lolly tray and caramel earl grey tart. Plan B by Becasse has also set tongues wagging about their $10 wagyu burger. I would love to see justin north cook and create food masterpieces with my own eyes!
Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, the chef behind Nobu! He has opened Nobu in Melbourne and it will be incredibly awesome if he can cook in Australia! There is much to be learnt, especially his signature dish of black cod in miso.
Guillaume Brahimi! His Wagyu beef daube with paris mash in Taste of Sydney 2010 is the epitome of heaven. The right consistency and flavor! Would definitely love to see him in Good Food and wine show
Oh and i forgot to mention Martin Boetz from Longrain!
I have a penchant for good Thai food and Longrain satisfies my craving for something spicy and sour. It would be worthwhile to see him cook while polishing my Thai culinary skills!
Margaret Fulton – she’s a gem!
Bill Granger from Bills. Dont you just love those velvety ribbons of scrambled eggs! One thing I cant compromise is bad scrambled eggs and Bills is one of those who does killer scrambled eggs. Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning!
I would love to see Matt moran or nigella Lawson just because it as I’m sure she would put on a great show!
Tetsuya Wakuda. Pure genius.
Definitely George Calombaris… then I will be one step closer to my ultimate food fantasy – having George hand feeding me tasty Greek morsels… naked.
I think I would have to say Heston, he is so creative and seems like a nice guy and has a passion for food.
There are so many to choose from but for me it would be Kylie Kwong. I am really interested to learn more about her passion for sustainable and ethical food.
