If anyone is interested, MoVida has a new restaurant located inside an office building along little bourke and william street, melbourne city. It is a lot larger compared to the one at Hosier Lane. The food is a little different as it has a larger menu including paella.

Is there more than one MoVida? This looks a bit different to the one I went to in the city… it was AMAZING btw. Oh and how great is the Fitzroy Coles? Isn’t it beautiful!?

I actually prefer the bar, we got fantastic service and the bartender was really friendly.

I had a similar experience with trying (unsuccessfully) to book and then snagging a seat at the bar. The highlight for us was the wagyu carpaccio with truffle foam… incredible!

Oh how I fell in love with MoVida! That anchovy tapas was amazing. I’m heading to Melb 3 times next year and uh… yeah I think a repeat visit or two is on the cards!

Oh dang, I tried to book for Sat, Sun and Monday nights and was told they were booked out a month in advance. Should have just rocked up and tried our luck for lunch. You meal looks so good, especially the lamb cutlet.

What a timely post! I just tried to make a booking for 4 people for Movida and their Friday and Saturday nights are fully booked until next year! Seems like trying to get a seat at the bar for two people is a better option! The food looks so good!
